Questions

This section of art works were produced by our founder using different types of salvaged waste from local building contractors and a drawer base from an item of broken furniture.

Each has been used for creating visual art with glass beads, which we call 'Art of Glass'.

Image:

Below is an unprocessed drawer base before it was embellished with glass 'seed' beads, an outline rendering (on canvas) that was inspired by a solar flare, then two images that used repurposed hardboard as a base.

The solar flare rendition was repeated, with infills of glass beads added into spaces. This and the other multi-coloured image* was mounted onto toughed glass (salvaged) from a local glazing contractor, who kindly drilled holes into the glass, for display purposes.

*Featured in an exhibition at W3 Gallery in Acton, in advocacy of repurposing waste.

Visual art works, produced using different types of salvaged waste, including left over paints from past projects and off-cuts from a local building contractor.

Between leftover paint and scraps of wood, are resources for future works!

Putting them together first is a start!

How to develop them depends on you and an awareness of community need.

We'll share more on this in time.
